| | LINDA DOHERTY - EXTRUSIONS and HANDBUILDING Sept 2-3 and 9-10, 2006 |
| Linda sent these photos of the first weekend. | | The first two weekends in September, gave the Guild members the privilege of travelling to Stump Lake to participate in an Extruding Workshop at Lynda Doherty’s studio The one word that came up over and over again was sharing. Lynda shared her extruders, her tools, her inspiration and ideas, and worked (ran) very hard to make us all successful. | click on pictures to enlarge |
| It is really interesting to see a group of artists working and creating, all using the same extrusions, tools, and clay, and everyone came up with their own unique creations. Thanks to an inspirational teacher. Sharing is also something that happens in the Guild and it makes the member’s part of one community. We learned together, ate together and camped together, and, what a wonderful retreat. Submitted by Rhona Armes |
