Michelle was raised in Kamloops and started doing pottery in 2001. She's a part-time potter, mostly making functional pottery but often drawn towards non-functional artistic pieces. Most pieces are done in a cone 6 clay and fired in an electric kiln although she enjoys playing with raku clay and firing whenever possible. Michelle belongs to both the Thompson Valley Potters Guild and the Kamloops Arts and Crafts Club, and teaches wheel classes through KACC. Three years ago she started throwing under ''POTTERY FOR YOU". Michelle has a studio at her home. To contact her call 250-376-5445 |
