| | Pat Hall | | I completed a three year fine arts course and, while raising a family, worked from my home creating pastel and oil portraits, pen and ink sketches of historical buildings and farm scenes featuring draft and the Canadian horses. As well, I illustrated personal interest stories for both the French and English daily newspapers in Sherbrooke, Quebec. I have exhibited at Man and His World, Montreal, Carlton University, Ottawa, and Sherbrooke University. | | My style is realistic; influenced by the people, the culture and the art of the many places I have lived, from Newfoundland to BC. Upon moving to BC in 1982 I took up pottery, sculpture and watercolour painting. In 1986 I returned to work in healthcare, retiring in 2003 and moving to Kamloops. I am looking forward to resuming pottery sculpture and art work. | |
