Thompson valley potters’ guild Lifetime Member

Enid Damer

Enid started potting in the 1960’s and knew from the first touch of clay this was what she wanted to do.  She joined the Thompson Valley Potters’ Guild in 1970, a year after it was formed, and set up a studio in her basement 10 years later.

A teacher to both beginners and seniors, she was very generous with her knowledge and expertise.  She was also very involved in the Arts community over the years, and held the position of President to both the Arts & Crafts Club and the Thompson Valley Potters’ Guild, as well as, being active with the Community Arts Council and the Kamloops Art Gallery.

Enid retired from pottery in 2000, leaving a legacy of beautiful pots and inspired protégés
